Three Fugitives (VHS, 1989)

$4.00
A North American release of Three Fugitives (1989), directed by Francis Veber and starring Nick Nolte, Martin Short, and Sarah Rowland Doroff. The film follows a recently released bank robber who is forced to take a former embezzler and his young daughter hostage when a robbery goes wrong, putting the unlikely trio on the run from the police. A remake of Veber's own French film Les Fugitifs (1986), the movie blends crime, slapstick comedy, and unlikely-buddy dynamics. Nick Nolte plays the hardened ex-con while Martin Short provides the more frantic comedic performance as the inexperienced criminal caught in the middle of the situation.
