A bleak, slow-burning West German science fiction film from director Rainer Erler, originally made for television in 1977. After a years-long mission to Jupiter's moon Ganymede, the surviving astronauts return to an Earth that has stopped answering their transmissions. They splash down off a deserted coast and set out on foot across a barren desert, unsure whether anyone is left, as exhaustion, paranoia and thirst turn them against one another. The international cast includes Horst Frank, Dieter Laser (later of The Human Centipede) and Jürgen Prochnow (Das Boot).
Tape play confirmed, no mold. Please refer to photos for condition of the item.
