Killer Bats / The Devil Bat (VHS, 1985) Good Times Home Video Release
A classic public-domain horror shelf staple, Bela Lugosi in Killer Bats is GoodTimes’ 1985 release of The Devil Bat (1940), one of Lugosi’s best-loved Poverty Row chillers. Directed by Jean Yarbrough, the film centers on Lugosi’s revenge-minded scientist using oversized bats and scented aftershave as a murder weapon, a wonderfully strange setup that became a favorite of late-night TV and early budget VHS distributors.
Tape play confirmed, no mold. Slipcover shows heavy wear, which has been reflected in the price. Please refer to photos for the condition of the item.
